Such a joyous read, thank you 😊 I have a vivid memory of refinding Pink Rabbit one day in my sister’s room and remembering how wonderful it was and being delighted I could read it again, and read it over and over and over. And still I can’t remember much of the detail today (I still have it and plans to return), just recall how spellbinding it was.
I really cannot wait. Reading is also what helped ease my anxiety. I also remember vividly a time where I worked a lot (in tv journalism) and was so stressed and knackered at night but still I made time to read a couple of pages every night. It helped tremendously to calm me down and sleep better. I honestly think it helped me go through that difficult time.
beautiful article, Daisy! I'm delving back into some Maeve Binchy as we speak to counteract the January of it all. I can't wait to read this xxx
LOVE Maeve Binchy so much!
'It's a waste of good buttons' feels like a phrase that'll be useful in a lot of situations!
Hooray! Absolutely! I have just sampled a cadbury’s Mega Button. The research continues.

Love you SK! X

So often I can’t remember what happened in a book, but I loved the way it made me feel! It’s magical!

Oh Claire, I’m sorry that you had to go through this but I’m so happy to hear that reading helped. X
